The many members of the Basic Fantasy Project are believers in sharing. They have created a lot of material, and much of it is shared here on our website. Our materials are broken up into three categories: The Downloads Page The Showcase The Workshop Yes, there is a lot of stuff here; in some cases, we have more than one set of supplementary rules for a given situation. Don't panic. We recommend that beginning (or returning) Game Masters start with the core rules and one or more of the adventure series modules. Add supplementary materials and house rules later, after you and your players have experience with the game and know what you want from it. In the spirit of Open Source development, wherever possible we use truly free programs such as LibreOffice to create our materials. Most items below are distributed in LibreOffice as well as in PDF (Adobe Reader) format. If you just want to print out and use the rules, the PDF is probably what you want, but if you'd like to make changes you'll want the LibreOffice version. Some items have been submitted in other formats; such items are noted below where they appear. |
